KTM has announced a global recall of the 2024 KTM 125 Duke, 250 Duke, 390 Duke, and 990 Duke due to a potential issue with the fuel tank cap seal.
During quality tests, it was found that some seals may not fully meet KTM’s quality standards. Material deviations could cause small cracks in the seal, which may lead to the possibility of fuel leakage from the tank cap area.
To ensure safety and reliability, KTM will replace the fuel tank cap seal free of charge. Owners of affected motorcycles are being contacted directly and are advised to schedule an appointment with an authorized KTM dealer. The replacement will be performed exclusively by authorized service centers to maintain the highest safety standards.
Motorcycle owners can also verify whether their vehicle is affected by visiting the “Service” section on KTM’s official website.
Owners of the 125 Duke, 250 Duke, and 390 Duke should contact their nearest KTM service center for further clarification and replacement arrangements.
